Graduation Scrapbook Layout

Hello Everyone,
It's been a while since my last post. Therefore, I figured that it would be a good idea to share with you my current project. My son just recently graduated from high school. Being the craft lover I am, I had to make a few layouts of his graduation. Today I am going to show you one of the digital scrapbook layouts that I made. As a single mom, I am always looking for ways to create things for free. This particular layout was 100% free. The most I spent was the few cents in printer ink it cost to print out the layout.

To start out, I want to show you how I designed the layout. I currently do not have Photoshop, and therefore use a tool called MyScrapNook. Here is the link so you can check it out: MyScrapNook Home - Design classic and new generation scrapbooks to post and print. Now you must download MyScrapNook, however you can de-select all the other options that you don't want.

This is how completed layout came out:

Next I just used some basic solid colored papers that you can find basically anywhere on the Internet. The graduate frame was a freebie from Chelles Creations. If you would like you can also purchase her entire graduation set for a very reasonable price. Finally, I downloaded some free graduation embellishments from Super Scrap, another wonderful scrapbook blog. The alpha set is already built into MyScrapNook. There are a few different types of alpha sets to choose from. However, you can also upload your own alpha set if none of the sets fit you.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.

Happy Crafting,
Jenn
