This team began after Etsy announced new policy changes allowing mass produced and manufactured items on the site. The goal of this team is to keep the true spirit of Etsy alive by helping buyers to recognize true handmade items. Each applicant who applies to the team is screened by a group of leaders to make sure that the items in each shop are truly handmade. When a member is approved they are given a badge to place in their shop to show that all the items in that shop are handmade.
WHO CAN JOIN:
Any Etsy seller who sells items handmade by them self. The team does not allow Etsy sellers who sell vintage or pre-made items.
If you are an Etsy seller and would like to join the team, you can APPLY HERE.
When you are browsing Etsy make sure to keep an eye out for our handmade badge. This way you can be sure that a person created the item, and not a machine.
