Free Household Account Numbers Log and a Giveaway

Hello Everyone,
I hope that you are all enjoying your summer. Today I have another free printable that I have created to for you to use in your Household Management binder, as well as a special giveaway. First lets talk about the printable. As many of you may know, I am obsessed with the whole Household/Family Binder system. When I first saw the idea on Pinterest, I knew it would be a great help to me. Whats even better is that almost all of the printables I have found have been free. However, every once in a while I just can't seem to find a specific printable that I feel would be a great addition to the binder. Today was one of those days. I searched Pinterest and just couldn't seem to find a printable where I could organize all my household account numbers. Therefore, I created one. I love how it came out, and will be very useful to me in keeping track of my accounts like gas or cell phone. If you would like your own copy of this household account number log then please click on the link below the image.

Free Coupon Tracker Printable

Over the past few weeks I have been trying to go through all my coupons and create a more organized way to file them. I have found coupons in my purse, car, kitchen counter, and many other places they don't belong. Also, while sorting through them I have found that TONS of them expired a long time ago. Plus, there were some coupons I dug up that would have saved me money if I had them with me at the store.

My goal is to develop a coupon system that is easy to use and maintain. I am not an extreme couponer.
After researching some couponing sites, I learned that the coupons that may come in one weeks flyer, may be good to use with a sale on a different upcoming week. Therefore, I need to know what I have and where to find it. First I created a simple coupon envelope to carry with me at all times. It is very small and fits perfectly in my purse. Next, I decided that when I write my shopping list that I will put a "C" next to items I have coupons for. Finally, I created a way to visually see what coupons I have without digging through all of them. It is an easy chart that will help me to remember what coupons I have, and can also refer to the sheet when looking through weekly store flyers. If you would like a copy of this printable simply click below.

I hope this was helpful!!

Graduation Scrapbook Layout

Hello Everyone,
It's been a while since my last post. Therefore, I figured that it would be a good idea to share with you my current project. My son just recently graduated from high school. Being the craft lover I am, I had to make a few layouts of his graduation. Today I am going to show you one of the digital scrapbook layouts that I made. As a single mom, I am always looking for ways to create things for free. This particular layout was 100% free. The most I spent was the few cents in printer ink it cost to print out the layout.

To start out, I want to show you how I designed the layout. I currently do not have Photoshop, and therefore use a tool called MyScrapNook. Here is the link so you can check it out: MyScrapNook Home - Design classic and new generation scrapbooks to post and print. Now you must download MyScrapNook, however you can de-select all the other options that you don't want.

This is how completed layout came out:

Next I just used some basic solid colored papers that you can find basically anywhere on the Internet. The graduate frame was a freebie from Chelles Creations. If you would like you can also purchase her entire graduation set for a very reasonable price. Finally, I downloaded some free graduation embellishments from Super Scrap, another wonderful scrapbook blog. The alpha set is already built into MyScrapNook. There are a few different types of alpha sets to choose from. However, you can also upload your own alpha set if none of the sets fit you.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.

Happy Crafting,
Jenn

My Favorite Colourlovers Patterns that I Created

So, where have I been...do you ask??? Well, yes I admit that I have been MIA for a while. That is because I have been creating some wonderful palettes and patterns on Colourlovers.  Now I am addicted to two websites, Pinterest and Colourlovers. When I joined Colourlovers, it was only to created a few things here and there. I never imagined how I would fall in love with it. There is so much more to the site than just creating palettes and patterns. First, there are many fun and exciting groups that you may join. Each group has a special theme, some with contests and challenges, some where you create things to honor other members and some focus on one thing (i.e. teal, music, recipes, vintage, etc.). I have been very active lately in the groups that I joined. I have also met some really wonderfully talented, friendly people on the site. So now that you know what I have been doing, I just would like to apologize for abandoning the blog for a while. I am going to print out some blog planners, and divide my time between the two. Also, I would just like to share with you some recent favorite patterns that I have made. These are just some of the 200 patterns I have made. If you would like to view my palettes and patterns and/or possible join in on the fun, here is the link. It will take you directly to my profile, however just press home if you want to sign up.

If you decide to join, I would love to see what you create. I enjoy see what creations other member come up with just as much as creating my own thing.

St. Patrick's Day Printable Art

I can't believe that it is almost March!!. I don't know where the time went. As February comes to an end, it's time to take down the Valentine's day decorations and pack them away for next year. Which also means it's time to dig out the decorations for the next holiday, St. Patrick's Day. I don't really have a lot of decorations for St. Patrick's Day, however I do have a couple of things for this year. First I have my favorite Shamrock in which I hang in my front window. I love this shamrock, as it is very shiny and sparkly. The base color of the shamrock is green, however when you drive by my house while the sun is shining the mini shamrocks hanging off the larger change colors. It's really pretty to look at. Next I bought some St. Patrick's Day window clings and gels, which I will put on my front and back doors. Finally, I needed something to put into my "seasonal" photo frame. Therefore, I decided to create some subway art, but with a little twist. Take a look here:

I wanted to do something different from your basic subway art. Therefore, I created the words into a shape of a shamrock. Then to add a little boost, I made the background an ombre green & yellow color. I love how it came out!! I designed the picture to be an 8x10", perfect for my frame. If you would like to download and print out your own copy here is the link.

Please just remember that it is for personal use only, Thank you!
So how do you decorate your house for St. Patrick's Day? Do you go all out, or just keep it simple? I would love to hear your ideas and thoughts!!! ♥

Happy Crafting,

Jenn
